Stir-Fried Chinese Yam with Tomatoes
Vitamin-Rich Chinese Yams
Chinese yams are a rich source of vitamins and minerals. They can strengthen the body’s immune system to help prevent illness. Tomatoes help promote healthy digestion. Pairing the two together makes this dish especially suitable for those suffering from high blood pressure and blood fat levels, ulcers, or constipation.
Advice from the Chef
It is common for a skin reaction to occur when peeling the yam. Rubber gloves may be worn during the process to avoid discomfort.
